Followme complete set for second Children Bike
With this complete set you can easily prepare a second children's bike for the followme .
For the fixation of the children's bike on the followme the following conditions must be met:
- Frame: The frame geometry should correspond to a classic Children Bike so that the followme clamp can be attached to the undertube
- Wheel size: Children's bikes from 12" to 20" wheel size. This corresponds to about 30 cm to 50 cm tire diameter.
- Front fork: The maximum fork width (pipe outside to outside) 155mm cannot be exceeded. Conventional suspension forks are not a problem.
- Quick release on the Children Bike: If a quick release is attached to your Children Bike , you also need the 'axle extension for quick release'
- Dynamo hub: is also no problem - since the axle extension nut M9x1 is included in the assembly set.

Die Schrauben und Muttern, welche dazu dienen, die Länge richtig einzistellen sind viel zu stark angezogen. 3 von 4 Schrauben und Muttern habe ich vermurkst, trotz richtigem Werkzeug. Es hat dann nach etwas fluchen funktioniert...

Ich brauchte einen weiteren Followme Adapter für ein zweites Kinderrad. Leider liessen sich die Schrauben und Muttern zur Anpassung der Lochblechlänge an den Rahmen des Kinderrads überhaupt nicht öffnen - weder mit Werkzeug noch nach Behandlung mit entsprechenden "Lösemitteln". Fast schien es, als sei es garnicht gedacht, diese zu öffnen, aber wie dann die Länge des Lochblechs anpassen? Eine entsprechende Anleitung konnte ich (beim Produkt oder im Internet) nicht finden. Bei unserem ersten Followme Adapter für das Kinderrad erinnere ich diese Probleme nicht. Konnte mir dann mit "Unterfütterung" durch Gummiteile helfen und musste die Länge daher garnicht kürzen. Hatte aber (zu dem Preis...) eine etwas intuitivere Montage erwartet... Von der Stabilität und Funktion ist der Adapter ansonsten aber sehr gut. Wobei ich es gut fände, wenn man die Achsverlängerungen, die ja auch dazu gehören individuell aussuchen könnte - bei unseren Kinderrädern passen sie nicht und man muss daher wieder extra andere kaufen...
